Thank you, not intending to disparage any plug-in creators, but for something so integral to that site, I'd prefer that be native.
@Bob is one of the few developers I wouldn't ever worry about abandoning things. He's pretty consistent with updating his products.Thank you, not intending to disparage any plug-in creators, but for something so integral to that site, I'd prefer that be native.
For other small items, I am fine if they come and go from the resources section.
XenForo's system is MUCH better than the IPS system, which relies on the Commerce package to allow that. For this, it's mostly purchasing a premium membership that moves the user into a new group automatically when purchased, and moves them back, when it expires.
The code is also much better than the IPS 100% more qualityXenForo's system is MUCH better than the IPS system, which relies on the Commerce package to allow that.
Also expensive for Turkiye. Someone who wants to open a forum in this country with high inflation will find XenForo quite expensive. Also too expensive for Indonesian like me. I bought it even though I had to borrow money from my brother.
This is the world order today. Also expensive for Turkiye. Someone who wants to open a forum in this country with high inflation will find XenForo quite expensive.
the question is does it bring you the value you pay for it?This is the world order today.
We need to set aside pocket money for a while so we can buy the license. Don't rush, it will be bought someday.![]()
Surely this applies to lots of things though and isn't somehow specific to XenForoAlso expensive for Turkiye. Someone who wants to open a forum in this country with high inflation will find XenForo quite expensive.
it is why i use gimp instead of photoshop and libre office on my new surface book instead of microsoft office.Surely this applies to lots of things though and isn't somehow specific to XenForoProbably not a lot any software or product provider can do about high inflation in one country.
A hack I've been using since 2015:it is why i use gimp instead of photoshop and libre office on my new surface book instead of microsoft office.
I do that myself. Got all my Windows Server CALS that way.A hack I've been using since 2015:
Sign up for any college during free tuition periods. Then, get the full Creative Cloud pack for $20 instead of $60 monthly. If you only need Photoshop, I think it's like $9 this way, but the regular Photoshop/Lightroom pack for $15 is pretty attractive as it comes with 1 TB storage over 100 GB. However, I've yet to reach 100 GB limit as I export RAW files to my local storage, for preservation, and keep on editing new ones.
You are clueless. If you have a job It's not that expensive. Re-newal is not that expensive.
I found it expensive when i was a student and only had a part-time job
What is expensive is some add-ons, some are more expensive then xenforo!!
This is brilliant! So many things offer edu discountsA hack I've been using since 2015:

Someone please correct me, but I'm kind of confused on why everyone is comparing the cost of Xenforo in US Dollars. Shouldnt the default pricing be in English Pounds, since this is a UK product? You are clueless.
All of us who are outside America have to pay more for the product.
