Why is it not possible to pay for licenses by Stripe or Braintree?

XenForo supports Stripe and BrainTree. Yet, its not possible to pay through Stripe nor BrainTree when buying licenses. Which means its not possible to pay by the most popular payment method in my country: iDeal. Only PayPal is available.

I wonder why this is.
