XF 2.1 Why doesn't page refresh ? Help :(

it was XF1 auto refresh forum homapages, and i can see auto my new notfications. But i install XF2 it doesn't refreshing any time !! im using F5 for i see my new notifications and my new conversations. Why like this ?

it should be fixed guys.

it should be auto refresh forum like IPS have auto refresh good script...inbox message notification come auto even we are not on forum tab.

this is xenforo problem I think.

lets wait for expert reply....I hope someone will give us reply about this case.

XF1 never updated alerts or auto refreshed the page to show new alerts. That would only happen if there was a Ajax request that happened on the page.

In order to get alerts, PC’s and such to auto update is with an addon. I believe this one, https://xenforo.com/community/resources/live-content.6381/ from @Xon does what you want.
