Why does Back from a Profile's Recent Activity return one to Profile Posts page not Recent Activity

Selecting post from a user's personal profile Recent Activity page, then clicking Back takes one to Profile Posts page instead of back to where I left off viewing Recent Activity list.

Is this intentional design (not sure why it would be), or just a loose end, or?

My personal preference would be if I'm going through a Recent Activity list (such as Kier's) and selecting a post there, when I click Back I'd prefer to be taken back to where I left off on that user's Recent Activity list, rather than winding up on that user's Profile Posts page.

Any chance of changing that or at least offering as a preference option?

It's an issue with some external library.

That is because the recent activity tab doesn't load a new page. Rather it is loaded with AJAX. This causes inconsistent behavior with browser back buttons.

I just open links in a new tab when I want to refer back to the original page.
