MG 2.0 Why are permissions red?

Custom permissions exist for all of those groups.

But I did not set custom permissions for all the groups in xf1. The forum customised permissions aren't red

There was a different system for permissions in XFMG 1.X.

You changed the permissions while editing the category.

This is quite a different system to the node style permissions we have now.

It's possible that you had a value unchecked for either those groups that could view or add media for that category. That is what has been carried over.
