Fixed White background clipping around avatar

I believe this has already been reported but I can't find that thread. I am talking about this bug:



I am reporting this again because it can actually be fixed, background color has to be set for the <img /> element itself, instead of the <span> container. Making this change fixed the bug for me in Chrome and FireFox.

FWIW, I've only noticed this in Firefox, but I have changed this for the next release.
