Whisper, Inspired by Lustrous

Hi CyberAp,
I see rc3 has been released .. before I go upgrading, can you talk me through setting up a child-theme please?

Hi, I don't pretty much understood what you want to say.
I am a bit busy right now making a new style so update may take some time (I hope this will be on this week).
 
CyberAP, Would you consider making this skin more "XenPorta Friendly" ? It doesn't look very nice currently.

What module do you use? I see that there are no xenforo classes and is uses just colors from color palette which is the worst way.
 
Would it work if I set this as the child of the default style, so if xenforo is updated, it will inherit the new updated template edits?

Yes, but no need to do that. Whisper is a child style of Master style by default. It makes sense if you have changed something in Default style, then yes it will work.

Thanks! What is the best way to import this style so that if you update whisper, any edits will still be inherited?

Doesn't matter. But all the changes made to whisper should be in a new child style from whisper. I recommend importing original style and call it Whisper Original and hide from users. And then create c new child style and call it Whisper.
 
If you've upgraded to XF 1.0.1 the only thing you need to do is to revert login_bar.css template. Other templates are OK for new version of XF. (but do not include latest features of course)
I'm not sure when updated version of Whisper is coming.
