XF 1.4 Where is the HTTPS SSL tutorial?

I spoke to my host (Nimbus) about switching to https. They said that on the xenforo forum is a tutorial on doing this.

I can find lots of threads regard people having problems but no actual tutorial or instructions.

Can anyone point me this tutorial, thanks

There is no offical XF tutorial.
Setting SSL/HTTPS is a server level function/setting, not specifically related to XenForo software.

If you have managed to find some threads on it, just copy the instructions within.

Yes I found loads of threads, just hoping somebody could narrow the search down to one with some instructions, as the hosting company suggest I read it first - makes me think there is one specific thread that is the most useful.

Meanwhile I will continue to wade through those search results.

Specifically I think they they said there was a problem when forum members post links that are not secure.
