XF 2.1 Where is reason for rejection stored?

When a moderated registration is rejected, there is an optional field for Reason.

However, when checking a rejected user, all it says is Rejected - it doesn't show the reason.

Where can I find that information?

It's in the xf_user_reject table and visible in the "Rejected users log" in the Admin control panel. You have to click "View" to see the reason.

Having just been looking in that table, it seems like it's purged (30-day limit) but I can't find the code that does the purging/cleaning.
Would appreciate a pointer if it is indeed automatic
(Have searched the ACP and the filesystem, including the Cron jobs, but none the wiser.)
