XF 2.1 Where are we supposed to define the LESS variables for basic colors?

I don't understand how we are supposed to use the color palettes in XenForo 2.1.



These fields are all defined by default using LESS variables. Where are we supposed to define what these variables are?

For example, where do I set the @xf-contentBg variable? These are not available in the "Color palette" options.

In "Basic Colors" I believe. That variable gets inherited from the palette, but you can change it, make it anything you want.

This really should be mentioned somewhere next to the fields on the "Basic colors" page. It's not obvious until you start tinkering with it.

Yeah, that's how I learned it. But once you see it's all that way it makes tweaking styles very intuitive. You know where to find stuff and how to change it. I love the "revert" feature too.
