I've had to ban a member, but upon testing their permissions, I could still see everything. So what actually happens when you click the ban user button when viewing a member in their profile within the admin cp?
If I am not mistaken, the test user permission only transfers the permissions from the usergroups the user is a member of, and a ban isn't a usergroup permission. You would have to log in as the user to see the ban message.
