When APC is installed?

Hi,

When APC is installed and the code is added in config.php file as this psot says - http://xenforo.com/community/threads/tip-use-apc.6456/#post-93390

I get an error every time I add a addon or if I edit templates and stuff.

The following error occurred:
A server error occurred. Please try again later

works just fine for me with the latest apc installed

I was getting this error but Mike said he has a fix for Beta 2.

Shamil compiled it for me, think he used yum but not sure - how would I get the latest version and recompile it - it wont mess up memcache and other things installed on phpinfo will it?

I don't think it's a good idea to run memcache and APC unless you really have lots of memory. Stick with one

How did you get that revision as if I download from here http://pecl.php.net/package/APC I seem to keep getting the $Revision: 301663 $?

At the moment, memcache is not being used extensively by PHP as a datastore. It is simply providing other object caching such as images etc, through directly via PHP.
