My vB 3.8 forum sends 5,000-6,000 emails per day. I was sending them from my own server using Postfix, but due to a lot of the messages being flagged or blocked by ISPs as spam, I switched over to SendGrid and have been very happy with their service.

Incoming messages to my domain are all pointed to Google Apps.

I knew this was a retro article when he said he loved Kerio.
That's from 2006.
Still some good information on there.
