Looking for some advice in what would be best for me to use to start learning to program/develop in PHP, basically I fancy having ago at creating some add-ons for xF, but unsure what package would be best to start with?

All I've currently got is the Adobe Master Collection and currently use Dreamweaver for making my static pages.

All help/advice appreciated

"... learning to program/develop in PP,"

I thought this was perhaps a typo for PHP.
I lookede at the Eclipse website but it didn't say hardly anything about what it's for.
< ---- Puzzled.

Start with a normal text editor, like ultraedit on windows, or textmate on the mac (ignoring ppls personal preferences) Or if you get a bit more experienced, dive into an IDE like Eclipse.

resources:
zend.com / php.net / mysql.org
