What to choose VBulletin 3.8.7 or Woltlab Burning Board??

This is like driving through the McDonald's drive-thru and asking the guy at the window what's the best oil to use for a BMW M3. You'd probably get better results visiting the sites of those boards to get a list of features they support.

Wrong. It would be like going through the drive-thru and then asking them "What burger should I choose? The Whopper from Burger King or the New Turkey Burger from Hardees? What's that? No, I don't want one from Mcdonalds, just an opinion on which burger to choose."

Exactly.

vb 3.x was great but its past its prime and there are a lot of things I want to do that the 3.x line just can't. Its why I originally bought the vb4 suite. Aside from that, 3.x is end of life now and I dont want to invest in a platform that isn't being development or maintained much longer.

Wotlabb... never really looked at it. 19% vat tax included is an instant kill considering I'm in the USA and not subject to VAT. Didn't play with a demo but feature wise looks okay. The plugin store is a novel approach.

I like the name, Burning Board. It always made me laugh a little. Fireboard I underststand. Burning... as in on fire, burning down the house, painful symptoms when using the rest room, best to be combined with Insurance Board, etc. Years ago I saw it and I thought THAT was vBulletin.

if you live outside Europe you don't pay vat tax, email woltlab and they will remove 19% of the price for you.
as for the plugin store, it is my favorite feature in wbb and i wish to see something similar in XF some day.

They already have a plugin system planned.

I really prefered WBB2 over WBB3. It was similar to how vB3 was, though not as robust. WBB3 feels bloated and isn't as intuitive to use, and I just stopped using my license.

Highjack (kinda). What happened to that forum script that came out around the same time as XF was first announced called Aslan or something like that?

Your POINT? If you have something to say or think something bad of me feel free to tell me. So I can proof you wrong.

The point is, if you are the same person it implies you are selling links in your signatures, therefore all of your posts are at best commercial misuse and at worst, trolling. It also explains why you have asked such a nonsensical question in the first place.

Ah now I get it, you know how paranoid that sounds? If you look at my history of posts here you will notice I am not who you claim me to be.

Second nobody ever applied to get that deal, fools they are as what I offer in that package is really a nice offer. But I guess I asked to much money...

Really low to think of me like that without any proof.

I'm missing something here... right???

I rest my case.
