What should i do about forum security?

Currently i can't reach my site, ftp server and my hosting panel. Maybe it's due to hosting company but still i'm concerned about my forum's security. What precautions should I take for hacking attempts? Thanks.

See this guide for protecting the Admin CP:

This is only needed if you want to add another login in addition to your admin login.
