XF 1.2 What is the best way to move subdirectory to sub domain without renaming the subdirectory folder?

My current Xenforo directory is /community and I already created a subdomain www.forums.mysite.com. What is the best way to move the /community to www.forums.mysite.com without renaming the sub directory from /community to /forums, for SEO purposes?

www.mysite.com/community --> www.forums.mysite.com

You will need to have redirects regardless of how you move it. If you can configure your server to point forums. to /community, that's your best option. If not, you'll need to rename the directory.
