XF 2.2 What Happens When Email Service Limit is Reached?

Hey everyone,

I recently switched to an email service and am currently on the free plan, which has a limit of 100 emails. I'm wondering what happens if I reach that limit. Will no more emails be sent, or will XenForo default to the built-in email system? For context, I am a cloud user

If you are using an external SMTP service, XF PHP email is no longer involved.

Presumably once you reach the limit no more emails will be sent - you will need to check with the service.

Brevo has a 300 mail per day limit on free accounts if that works for you. I have been using ZeptoMail from Zoho for the last couple of weeks and it is also a very good low cost option. It costs me Rs. 177 (USD 2.2) for 10,000 mails (six months validity iirc) though pricing might be different in different countries.
