Wow, lot of Macs here. Also apparent that Kier has no lack of money. 
Anyways, specs:

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2
HIS Radeon HD 5850 1GB @ stock
A-DATA Gaming Series 4GB DDR3 1600G
WD Caviar Blue 640GB + old IDE drive (old files)

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Could probably overclock the i7 to 3.2 Ghz, probably up to 3.8 with better cooling (Thermalright TRUE?). I've just never bothered to try it. Everything is fast enough for my needs already. Also want an SSD for the OS and some games, but I'm waiting until decent ones hit the sub-$100 range. This whole system (including monitor) cost me about $1300 when I bought it 7 months ago.

Thanks to the excellent dust filters that come with the 902, there is very very little dust inside the case and the computer acts like an air filter for my room.

I just upgraded myself, for the last 3 years I was running a Mac Book Pro 17" attached to a 5 years old 30" Monitor.
Was definitely time to upgrade for me, plus it's always good to have some expenses to show the Tax man!

Mac's may seem overpriced but it's a case of you get what you pay for. You don't keep throwing good money after bad. Having parts go bad on you. Our iMac is 5 years old, has run like a dream since day 1 straight out of the box. I have had issues with the laptop but only because I keep insisting on running Windows on half of it.
My specs:
iMac Desktop 24 inch standard configuration
PC Desktop, home built by son in law, no clue what he did.
And my MacBook Pro: And after blowing the graphics card out of two pc laptops (one was a HP which had the screen go really goofy and the other a Toshiba Satellite that went black screen inside of 2 years), I ended up with the MacBook Pro 15" 2.66 GHz.
Got a really good deal on it too. It's a late 2008 model but has the Multi-Touch touchpad which I never use. I also have an external mouse. Since I sit in a recliner (even a Herman Miller chair is not enough for me, altho it would be the best of the bunch) I don't use a tablet. No room on my laptop desk. I have a 500 gig external attached to it and we have a 750 gig external attached to the PC desktop downstairs networked in.

apple laptops are well priced for the spec range they're in (low end macbook is still too pricy). The desktops are just flat out overpriced, I see no way you could argue otherwise, the specs are so-so on them but the prices are through the roof. My desktop is a high end gaming PC, and with monitor it costs less than the cheapest iMac, and beats it with every component.
I do own a macbook though, and this "still works flawlessly" thing keep saying about Macs is just a load of crap tbh, hardware breaks, it doesn't matter if it's all put together into a macbook or a HP thingy mah bob, they tend to be the same components. The only broken parts on my macbook are macbook specific parts, I wont say more than that
