MG 1.1 Watermarks in 1.1.18 - manual works, rebuild/apply not so much...

We're trying to get ready for a move from old server XF1.5 > new server XF 1.5 > 2.2. I've got watermarks working manually (click the watermark button when looking at the image. But when I try to apply them to all the media using Applications > Gallery Rebuilds it doesn't apply them to all the media (they didn't have watermarks before, but I want them to have them now).

What am I doing wrong?

This wasn't a feature that was available in XFMG 1.x.

The rebuild functionality was useful if you wanted to change the watermark on already watermarked images - we keep the original non-watermarked version so if there are any changes to the watermark image you can "rebuild" them.

I think you can use inline moderation in XFMG 1.x though, forgive me, it's been a while and I can't be sure

In XFMG 2.1, however, you can use the new "Batch update media" system to apply watermarks to images that haven't yet been watermarked, and you can definitely use inline moderation.
