XF 2.1 Watch content on creation/interaction

I had "Watch content on creation/interaction" values set to "Yes, with email" but recently changed to "Yes" only. However, user registrations prior to this change are still using the old settings. How do I update all users and change the old value to the new?

The users would need to update their settings themselves.
