XF 1.4 Warnings to Ban

I have been warning users but it is not resulting in a ban.

Is there a cron job that results in a ban?

No - the conditions are checked when the warning is added.

There was something weird, where one of the members, regardless of how many points he got wouldn't get banned by a mod. I tried it myself.

Others were however were being banned depending on the points. I am not sure why such an exception...??

Seems like a bug.

There is some quirk where if a ban is applied but then lifted, but not by reversing the warning, then the system still has them as being on record as being banned and until that expires, subsequent warnings that would have had the same affect, have no affect.

It should be noted in the current version, but warning actions are only applied when crossing a threshold. If you lift the ban manually rather than by changing the warning points involved (by expiring/deleting the warning), you won't trigger that behavior.
