WANTED: Professional Xenforo Consultant for Migration

For the last 10 years I have been the admin on 2 "highly" customized vB3.8 forums.
But the time has finally arrived to abandon that old obsolete architecture and move forward with something MUCH more modern!
After looking at available options, I have decided to migrate to the Xenforo platform.

Forum #1.
Threads: 365,825,
Posts: 4,156,950,
Members: 107,059

Forum #2
Threads: 174,864,
Posts: 1,665,294,
Members: 9,998

Forum #1 is a mostly a public free forum with a subset of paid members.
Forum #2 is 100% paid access only.
Forum #3 will be a brand new build for an entirely new customer base.

(All 3 forums should be built identically from a software perspective, only the look & feel will be different between them.)
the goal is to make the Administration of the forums identical.

Both of these forums experience a yearly traffic LOW Summer but explode in Fall. Both need to have their replacements built, tested and be 100% fully operational before the end of August!

They will require MANY custom modules to obtain the current level of user support our members have grown accustomed to.
And since we are coming into the Xenforo environment more or less blind, we would like to find someone who is DEEPLY familiar with both the operating structure of the platform as well as THE MANY CUSTOM MODULES that are available.

We would prefer NOT to "Discover" by trial and error which mods work and which ones will only cause of grief and anguish down the line.

So, I am looking for suggestions of consultants in this community who are held in high regard to get this project underway with.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Sort of. With the long list of addons you are using, it would be pretty much impossible to find their XF2 equivalences.
You may have to remove much of the non-essential ones and hope there are existing XF2 functions/addons that do the job.

Worse case, you can move to XF 1.5 and wait to move to XF2 later. I see many of your vb addons are stock in XF so I'm sure someone can help you with this huge project.

Maybe not scared people off, but it does look like you are trying to start a bidding war.
Stick with one person, get your database analysed, if they can't do it pick someone else.
The problem with this type of work is those that are good at it are busy, those that aren't ...well

You’re not going to be able to do a like for like transition. Even if you moved to XF1 first, there aren’t replacement addons for lots of those. If you move to XF2 (which you should!) then there are even less.

You need to decide which you NEED and which you can live without. It’s surprising how many addons people really didn’t care about when we moved. We used to have 20+ for XF1 but now have 3 for XF2 and are only really missing 1.

I’d also put the timescale of doing all of this at a year (not 3 months!). It’d also seem to be a bad idea to launch during your busiest time. There will be lots of things you’ll need to respond to it’s make more sense to launch after the peak.

Sorry if that’s a bit negative, just trying to manage expectations!

and then you find out they had 5 different accounts, 3 they've not used in 5 years, 1 for their old work email address they can't access and the other they don't remember the password or even which email it was for the account.

As I stated in the opening post.
One of the primary goals in finding a good consultant was his being able to help us identify what IS and is NOT available.

We fully understand we will NOT be able to duplicate what we have been using for the last 10 years.
But we are looking for as feature rich a user experience as we can create, and a platform that is WELL SUPPORTED by coders in the same way that vB3.xx was years and years ago..
