I don't know what they have on the server.
According to my host above. So according to my host the zip file contains the malware. Oh well I am not going to play around with it all day I'll use another forum software...To my regret, the archive is recognized as the one containing malware by our security services. To my regret, it is not possible to upload it in that case.
I recommend either scanning the files by some anti-virus tool and cleaning them or uploading the archive content via SFTP so that we could test if the issue still occurs
What can you expect half of those damn operators can barely speak ****ing English! Don't know been with Namecheap a long time but I am about ready to ditch the SOBs....They are wrong, their security measures are reporting a false positive. Not sure what you can do at this point, as they seem unlikely to help.
Maybe try an older version, install that, then upgrade to latest version.
And how do I get an older version? It only gives me access to the current version. So try an older version and see what happens then.
Thanks I did not realize It was there...I strongly doubt that there is a virus, if there was many more members would be reporting it. Have you tried renaming the file to just xf.zip? I'm not sure when XenForo started putting the domain name in the file name, but maybe that name is what is triggering the warning?
Also, I think you should remove the license number from your filename in the first message.
Uploaded. Let me try renaming like Lawrence suggested. Nope..Still not working.....Downloaded or uploaded?
This really sounds fishy to me. A professional software company would never allow malware or a virus to be in their software. As stated previously, more people would be reporting it. The only way a virus or malware could've gotten into the software would've been through a third party site (downloaded it illegally/nulled)
