XF 1.0 Views count way too high

There is no way that the number of views in the 1st thread could be 13,015.
It just isn't that long and we only get a couple hundred visitors a day.
There are older threads with less views.

I have never seen this problem reported before, assuming it is a problem. We cannot discount the possibility that the number is correct. You would have to examine your server logs to try to account for a recent spike in views for that thread. Maybe a busy site linked to that thread.
