    Hi all.

I am aware of the xenforo import tool.

I currently run two forum. One in vbulletin ( End of life 4 license ) and wish to port it to my existing Xenforo site.

I want to create a new area on the xenforo forum called imported site and port all the posts onto it whilst retaining all my xenforo current posts / members / conversations etc.

I want to import the existing users from the vbulletin site into the active users site along with conversations ( at least just the users )

Is this possible , I couldnt see something telling me either way. Probably couldnt see the wood for the trees.

    Your time is appreciated.

The easiest way would be to create a new master category in your vB installation called e.g. "Imported Site".
Then when you do the import, it should import the same node structure and all the categories and forums will be under Imported Site.

You can also import the users, conversations, etc.

    Hi again ,

I have just done as you mentioned , everything appeared to go well. I could see the posts but yet when I click on them nothing happens. A refresh of the page means that the posts all dissapear. The users / postcounts have come through fine as well as the catergories. Just not the actual posts.

    Have I missed something ?
