MISSING DATA!!61062 !!MISSING DATA!!61063 !!MISSING DATA!!61064 !!MISSING DATA!!61065 .....

That means the file data for those attachments is missing. Is vB using the db or file system to store attachments? Make sure you set the attachment path in the Export file. That setting must specify the correct server path in the case of file system attachments, or be left empty ('') in the case of db attachments.

Also I can login after the import of users. My original user I installed xF with no longer works. I try my username on the admin of the vBulletin...and that doesn't work either. So I reset the password, and it seems like the password field is completely gone after importing.

The XF admin account (user_id 1) can be overwritten during the import if vB also has a user_id 1. You need to check that and possibly use one of the imported user logins after the import.

Posts don't get imported, and I get this

exporting threads...

watched threads (198 records in 0.00s)...
thread user post (198 records in 0.00s)...

That is the thread module which is separate from the post module. You are looking at the wrong export output if you are checking for posts. Posts are step 1. Threads are step 3.

So you are saying I should run each modules...instead of picking the Everything option?

Also I thought I had the file system in the attachment path correct, as it was using the full pathway similar to the way it is setup. I'll try to verify it once more.

Ok Slavik, now that I have this thing working flawlessly , including custom user fields and post reports/comments :D, how about building in an itrader -> xentrader import ;) That would just be the icing on the cake. I see a bunch of iTrader references commented out at line 496..... :notworthy: I can pay for your time, if you have time. I really would rather not have to generate an import log with the web importer during the actual conversion. I'll have enough to think about....

What happens when such a user comes up during the import? We've got several with commas in usernames.

Nothing. The user is imported. No errors.

I suspect this comma problem will only manifest when doing any kind of username search or match on the front end, such as sending PMs to the user or searching for posts by a user.

I get an error when rebuilding the user cache after import is complete.

Potentially yes, try removing all the ignored people from his list and try again.

Ok, that worked, but now it's error'ing on the next user with more than 90 on the ignore list, and the next, etc. Is there an easy way to fix this? A setting in mysql maybe? If not don't worry about it. It appears out of 200k+ users only about 5 or 6 hit the max and error out. They can just re-add people to their ignore lists.

Not off the top of my head no, the easiest is just to remove the ignores of people who have huge ignore lists...

XenForo bug:

http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xf_user_profile-ignored-inconsistency.52051/

This should be fixed in the current version if Mike included it. Or you can increase the length of that field in the database to avoid the error.

Thanks guys.

On another note, after closer inspection of my imported board, it appears that many avatars do not make it through the conversion. With the old S.A.F.A.R.I. version of this importer all avatars came through fine. Hmm... All the missing avatars exist in the source file directory, and I can't find any rhyme or reason to why some files aren't copied.

Not sure what all these "No move" lines mean, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the missing avatars.

@kontrabass

Ignore the "No move" messages.

If avatars are missing then presumably there would be some relevant errors in the Export output for avatars. Otherwise just confirm the storage directory and check some specific cases to ensure the data files exist. Note that the exporter has code to fall back to using profile pics if the user doesn't have an avatar in vB.
