My current forum is on vbulletin with vbseo URLs. The structure is as follows...
domain/forums/name-of-forum/thread-id-thread-title
When i test imported my vb data into my test xenforo install the thread structure is as follows...
domain/forums/index.php?threads/thread.name.thread.id/
the thread ids arent the same, they are different for the same threads.
I've done a search for previous threads on this but there are no recent ones and there seems to be no conclusion so far on what's the best way to make the move.
Could those users who have made a move from vb + vbseo to xenforo please explain what they did and how they made it work. I'm really hoping to keep the move as clean and tidy as possible.
