vB tags to Xenforo

I got a really good response to my last query http://xenforo.com/community/threads/what-to-do-with-vbcredits-if-move-to-xenforo.69273/ to help me make the decision. My last stumbling block to a decision is the tags.

I still using vB 3.6 which is before vB had a tag system, so I installed the Zoints thread tag mod: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=127244 The tags have become probably one of the more important parts of my forum, due to the nature of the topic of the forum and the use of curated lists of tagged threads. This tag mod by zoints has been awesome and is probably the main reason I have not got to upgrade from 3.6 (the vB tag system started with 3.7!).

Xenforo has the Xen Tag add-on that looks like the best option: http://xenforo.com/community/resources/tinhte-xentag.770/
From the discussion of that mod, it can import vB tags, but what about Zoints?

Does anyone have any advice about importing the Zoints tags to XenTag? Is it doable?

I don't believe support for Zoints exists in any add-on.
You can try contacting the developer of the add-on you have linked to, to see if they would be willing to help.

Thanks. That was my next step was to contact the Zoints and Xentag developers to see if they willing to do paid solution.
My fear is that I may have to pay to upgrade to vB3.7, then convert the Zoints tags to vB tags, then go to Xenforo .... which is a costly step considering I will need to buy a 3.7 license and gpo thru the hassles of that upgrade!

I just trying to gather as much info as possible before preparing a brief of what we want done.

I have no idea, I have never tried Zoints tags. So I can't help.
@xfrocks, is there any advise for cbpayne?
