I have this running on several forums. Should I remove it?! Was it spamming something?

Since this doesn't seem to be supported I went to find my own solution to that annoyance.
I modified the BbCode.php file, located here:
src\addons\UW\SmileysBar\Extend\Html\Renderer

Mine looks like this:

That appears to have worked, and no longer spam the tags. Since this is an unofficial solution, you'll receive an alert that the BbCode.php file has been modified.
 
Since the last update here is quite old (but it still works), is there any chance that this abandoned add-on can be passed over to some other, more serious developer?

Haven't applied @Dragonfruit's solution yet, so I still get these very annoying [UWSL] tags here and there sometimes.

Had to use Find & Replace from XF to remove this damn tags:

I was furious about then, my site has beyond 3 million posts.

Who the hell made an add-on that insert this tag from hell in every single post? I don't know whether it is incompetence or worse.
 
That should be the tag to show Jumbo Smileys, if I recall well.

But it's clear that there's an unfixed bug which randomly makes the add-on insert this bloody tag, apparently without any reason....

Coming soon for 2.3. Actually available for testing right now for lifetime users, if anyone of them still interested. Just send me a private message via XenForo, because the original website is down. The UWSL is a limitation by design. The UWSL is used to display Jumbo smilies. And when the add-on is disabled/uninstalled, XenForo no longer knows what UWSL means, so it just displays it as plain text. Hoverer it was resolved in this version with correct uninstall method.
 
@Dragonfruit the old site is gone unfortunately. But I do have my list of user names. When did you purchase and what was your name on the old site? Because your xenforo username is not there.
 
I can't believe you came back out of nowhere after so much time! (5 years, maybe?)

Should we trust this or your account just got hacked and this new update is just a backdoor to our servers?

Sorry for speculating about this, but I'm a bit more wary of these situations since when I got my PC infected in this exact way with an OBS add-on in the OBS official forum, which runs on XenForo.

How can we prove you are not cheating then?
Maybe someone from the staff could confirm this is the legit account owner, Chris?

@El Porcharo yes, you are on the list as lifetime user since 30.5.2020. So you just need to create an account again and I will add a free lifetime back to your account. And yes I am the same person, I am licensed XenForo user since Jan. 2019. Owning two XF licences, so I am validated for sure. If you had this add-on from a pirate website, then that could be the case, but for sure not from here.

I wasn't referring to Smileys Bar but I wal talking about an add-on for OBS (the streaming/recording tool) and it was a fake update of the original resource on the official OBS Forum 👉 here
 
Does that OBS has that resource here on XF as well? I doubt that. I saw you registered. So you have the license assigned to you already. BTW, if needed, I have no problem to give this add-on for review to XenForo.
