XF 1.2 Using Feeder to import JSON data

I would like to import data which is only available in JSON format.
Can I use "Feeder" to do that or is there a better way

Obviously RSS is supported. What other feed types are supported e.g. csv ?

I'm not entirely sure what it is you're asking.

You have posted in the import support forum and you mention importing data but the RSS feed function is just for taking content from RSS feeds and adding it to threads, not importing data.

The RSS feeder function only supports valid RSS URLs.
There are no configurable options to support any other data types.
