When I inherited our XF 1 installation a few years, the forum used forum@<our_domain> as its email.
2 years ago, I asked for access to this account via Google/Gmail to be able to monitor the email traffic in and out. (I asked for this because, to the best of my knowledge, XF doesn't/didn't store outgoing email - if that's not correct, please let me know.)
1 year ago, we have added a forwarder account for me personally: <my_name>@<our_domain> so that my email traffic could be kept separate from the forum's.
My question is this - if we switch the two above-mentioned email accounts so that <my_name@> is the real one and <forum@> is the forwarder, will XF work this way? I believe the answer is "No" because I cannot login to Google/Gmail with the forwarder, only with the real account.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
