Users that mentioned in an unapproved thread doesn't get notified when the thread approves.

Staff gets notified because they can access to unapproved threads anway.

I'm just a moderator on a XF licensed forum. I just report bugs in here and expect no support. The admin has not a lot of time to do that and only he has the associated account. And if we need support, I inform him and he does the rest with his account.

He’s able to add your username to his license, if it helps.

I'd doubt that he will as its a company license.
