Fixed Username Change Doesn't Update Correctly?

Is this a known issue? I just noticed this on here.



Yorick is Chris Deeming's old username. Plus, when you hover over the Yorick, it shows the url with Yorick as well.

I changed my username on one of my forums a few days ago and it was correct.

Yeah I think it's an Resource Manager related bug.

It's been reported before.

The auto created posts "Yorick has released an update" have the wrong name too (but I usually edit these anyway).

I have only seen this happen here on Resource threads. So this is probably why we've not seen it before on our own boards.

As noted, this was RM specific and is now sorted there.

when quoting a post of user "Adam Howard" (new name) it says "TheVisitors said" (old name)......

It's a case of "Won't Fix" I believe...

It has been reported before. It's by no means an efficient thing to do to go back through all post and thread history to update the username data in likes and quotes. I think it was marked as Future fix or Won't fix.
