RM 2.1 Usergroup permission on amount of resources

Is there any default setting or any 3nd party addon that can extend the default permission "Create resources" by setting a maximum amount of resources?

Hello,

You can create a new user group that does not have permission to add resources.
Then create a user group promotion that automatically promotes the users who created x resources in the new group.

Even if it's a good idea (never worked with user group promotions), but don't know if it can work as it's actually a downgrade. Also the fact that the usergroup is the Register don't know how wise should be to have another usergroup with the exact same permissions, except the Resources limit.

It is however a simple and native solution of xenforo.
User promotion is a powerful tool for managing your community.
You just need to be organized and everything works perfectly.
Yes there would be exactly the same permissions except for resource creation and it would be transparent for your users.

It is a viable solution, however the problem with this is that we have to wait for the group promotion CRON entry to be executed, before that happens the user can continue creating as many resources as he wants, that is the problem with promotions groups, they are not in real time, or am I wrong?
