XF 1.5 user upgrade - stopped working

Not sure if this is relevant but I did upgrade from XF 1.5.1 to 1.5.6 this weekend

I have a user that is a "Premium" paid member and now he's showing as non-premium regular member after his most recent payment on Mar 20th. Weird as has not cancelled and I have received the payment. How do I trouble shoot this and find the issue? Why would this happen?

Yes, this appears to be the same as that bug report. The listed workaround should suffice for future payments. PayPal will generally retry if it gets errors, but only for 5 days or so; for any payments older than that, you'll need to manually upgrade the user (via the option in the user upgrades section of the control panel).
