XF 1.4 User Promotion Not Happening For User

XF 1.4.8. The promotion adds user to a user group called seasoned members if:

• user state is valid
• belongs to registered user group
• does not belong to Administrative, Banned, Frozen, Super Moderators and the seasoned member group
• has at least 100 messages

The user who is not being upgraded:

• belongs to registered group
• belongs to another group called supporting members and another one called Tapatalk registered
• state is valid
• has 2711 messages

I have manually ran the cron job, but still no upgrade. Any ideas?

The user is promoted to this group. As they are now in the group, they no longer meet the condition "does not belong to the seasoned member group" and are demoted. If you look at the user change log you should see the promotion and demotion.

Just remove that condition for the promotion to work.

In addition to what Martok said, you should run the rebuild task in the tools menu to award trophies for members who have not been active recently.
