[n] User Profile Progress

[n] User Profile Progress [Paid] 1.0.5

No permission to buy (£15.00)
I still don't have this addon. I don't know if following tasks are included.
It will be nice if among the progress tasks options are: custom Avatar; be registered for 5 days + be registered for X days (mean, two different tasks); same with messages posted.
Kind regards

Great, thanks!
As I said, I didn't purchase it yet, that's why I didn't know.
Now I'll buy it.
Thanks!

i'm using xf 1.5.5 and user profile progress 1.0.4.

It was fixed in 1.0.2a, but other add-ons that conflict and don't properly extend the DW caused problems.

Just as a debug precaution, can you remove the add-on fully from your real board, create a test board with no other add-ons and then install this add-on and see if problems persist?

(it would be useful if we carried support discussion onto apantic.com)

is this fixed?

is it possibile to "lock" forum features for existing users until they didn't complete the process?

Doesn't seem to be. I had this happen the other day and ended up having to uninstall it before the user could register.

As of the latest version, yes. Some add-ons can conflict to cause this to fail, in which case we have another custom JAR tailored to these circumstances, if another add-on is interfering (it uses a different 'injection' method).

And yes, you can.

Me too. Once I uninstalled this, registrations worked fine.
There are a few versions of this add-on. Some add-ons, when extending the User DataWriter, do it in different ways. We did a smooth approach which should normally work but due to the array being recursive the way different add-ons extended it could cause problems. Inevitably, either this add-on would trigger an error or the conflicting one(s), whichever was loaded after by the XFCP. A new version was released to do a direct approach to adding array data, which is really ugly code wise and inconvenient but unfortunately is the best way to mitigate a clash between add-ons extending the user DataWriter.

So yes, it is fixed. It was fixed in 1.0.2 with another method tried in 1.0.4 and 1.0.4a. The latest version should work, if it doesn't you have another add-on interfering and it's advised to use the add-on files from a custom version we made for such scenarios. We'll be introducing this as a standard workaround in Apantic Core. Hopefully XF 2.0 makes extending core DataWriter field structure (assuming they keep them) much easier.

TLDR; it's fixed.

Me too. Once I uninstalled this, registrations worked fine.
Hey, we have a support forum y'know, and believe it or not I don't bite. Pop in sometime when our products give you pain.

We've used this for some time and when used in conjunction with some other add-ons (criteria etc) this is perfect. It locks the accounts providing you have your promotions set up accordingly. :)

Are you using HHVM or some kind of non standard setup? Do you have the mbstring PHP extension installed?
