XF 1.4 user group promotions

I want some forums to just show up for members of the (secondary) user group X.

I have to user group promotions for this:

1. - user needs to have at least XX posts

and

2. - user need to be in user group Y

So if a user has at least xx posts he will be in user group X. Or if he is already member of user group Y he will automatically also be member of user group X.

Will this work?

What happens if a user is in group Y but does not meet criteria of 1. user group promotion (not enough posts)? Will he still be in group X as he is member of group Y?

User groups are added as secondary groups.

Promotions only apply if all criteria are met.
