I can't enable Push Notifications as its says…

Enabling push notifications requires PHP to have the following extensions available: gmp

Our server host says "I'm seeing the php extension of gmp being enabled for your account."

Any ideas?

PHP needs to be recompiled after it is enabled.

Your host should really know how to resolve it.

Our host has eventually come back with this...

To be able to track down the specific module in question, could you specify the specific script on your account that you are trying to run? Or the software that your are trying to install?
Once we have that we will be able to provide more feedback on getting it enabled for your account.

My Host (TSOhost) say that as i am on a cloud based platform, GMP cannot be enabled and i would need to move to a VPS host. I currently pay £4 per month, VPS with them would be £47.99 a month!

Gutted as i really wanted Browser notifications!

That's your host trying to make an extra buck. You do not need a VPS. Any decent shared host will be able to enable GMP for you.

Well they lost me, have moved, paying more than I was but way less than what they quoted me!
