XF 2.1 User access to attachment browser

I have been suffering ever since we moved from vBulletin with lost attachments by some of my most productive users.

Now that we have 2.1 installed, I see that the attachment browser provides the archival record of all their attachments and may even be complete.

Is there some way I have not noticed to make that available to individuals in their profile area?

The attachment browser is only available in the ACP to admin accounts.

It would be a modification then to access it in another way. I did do a query against the database to summarize the attachment assets for all my users so they would not be so discouraged at not being able to find their resources. I hope to make this resource available sometime.

That sounds useful, Tom.
I am interested to see how many downloads each attachment has had. This used to be available in vB4.2 but not something I have found in XF2 .
Ideally I would want to be able to query how many downloads of each attachment by username, or by forum node, or date etc, with results being a ranked list in table form.
Any thoughts?
