URL portions

I know that we can set an optional text string to be used instead of the one generated by XF but this appears to work only for forums and not categories (i've not tried it with pages yet).

On my installation it shows one category as...

http://www.mydomain.com/categories/sound.16/

Any child forums under that category appear as a root category inside /categories instead of /categories/sound/childforum

Is this something planned for the future?

It's not currently possible to set a URL stub for categories, although it has been suggested.

The URL path for all forums is /forums.
The path does not include the category.
