XF 1.1 url by permissions

Hey gang.

Does anyone know of a way to apply permissions to a forum where only registered users can see a URL that has been posted? For guests, they see something like (register to see link).

I do not believe I know of an add-on that does this, but it would only have to modify XenForo_BbCode_Formatter_Base::renderTagUrl() to change the display. This guide can help you:
