You need to check the internal_data and data folders are writeable (CHMOD 0777)

Also, is the forum currently password protected using htaccess?

What Yorick said. Check the directory permissions on data and internal_data. And note that the flash uploader doesn't work behind a .htaccess login:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Attachments -> Use Flash Uploader

In the case of a very large attachment you might be exceeding a server limit. How large is the file? Do you get this error with all files?

If the error persists then I can take a look if you give me FTP and admin access.

Making those files Writeable gave the ability to upload them :)

Having another issue now... Users cant upload avatars, admins cant even upload them from the A-CP.

When you try to upload them you get this error.

Also when we upload an image we dont have the options, Thumbnail or Full Image to insert the images.

Does that happen with all images? Try some different file types (gif, png, jpg, etc).

    What image library?

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Attachments -> Default Image Processor

Try a different library if available.
