XF 2.2 Upgrading to 2.2 RC 1 resulted in site not working

I just upgraded to 2.2 RC 1 and my site is no longer working.

Any idea what could be causing it?

I can't even access admin control panel either.

I would revert to your backup (pre upgrade) and suggest not upgrading a live site to unsupported versions.

Doesn’t particularly help us get to the bottom of the issue unfortunately so as it stands the stable release is unlikely to change anything.

If you need assistance we really need more than “no longer working”. No longer working, how? What happens when you try to access your control panel?

I get the generic "Site is not working" text. I can't exactly remember what it was but I did figure it was related to some add-ons. Updating the site would also require updating the add-ons but some of that broke the site.

Try adding

$config['enableListeners'] = false;

to your src/config.php file

Yeah that's what I did and now I can access the admin cp. Just updating my add-ons as we speak.

True, but in a test site rather that a live site would be the best way to diagnose issues with an unsupported version. So it’s still sound and proper advice.

That seems plausible since disabling the addons allowed him back in the ACP.
