XF 1.1 Upgrading from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 - no upgrade option

Despite uploading the 'upgrade only' files multiple times, I do not get the option to upgrade my installation - only do a fresh install, which states it will remove all existing data because it detects my config.php file.

Help appreciated!

Which FTP program do you use?

The only differences between the upgrade full packages are:
.htaccess
library/config.php
data
internal_data

Some FTP programs (e.g. Transmit) don't merge though unless you configure them correctly.

Check that those files and directories still exist.

Those files/folders are still intact. I had the issue with a destructive replace with Transmit the first time. Used Merge the second time, and have now used Filezilla.

In that case, ensure the correct details are in /library/config.php and replace the internal_data/install-lock.php file.

Ah, replacing install_lock.php seems to have allowed the upgrade to initiate - thanks!
