XF 1.1 upgraded to 1.1.3 from 1.1.2 Double Alerts

I'm now getting double alerts for some users.

What can I try to figure out what the issue is or how to rectify it?

Having this issue also -- and I have also have TapaTalk installed.

I've disabled tapatalk and it's no longer doing multiple quotes, tho just quickly tested. I'll report back tonight before I upgrade to see if more people report back that it's still doing it.

what version of tapatalk are you guys running? That tapatalk link posted earlier stated 1.2 and 1.2.1 were both causing this issue?

1.2.1 appears to have fixed the duplicate threads but now I'm seeing multiple alerts everytime a post is quoted.
Suggestions?

Adam, switch off the tagging feature in ACP>Options - can you give that a try and report back please?
It could be hit and miss with the dupes, or it could solve it completely. I'm clear so far by disabling the tagging.

I read some where that was a solution, but it didn't work for me. So for now I've simply turned off Tapa Talk.

Do not disable it, just downgrade to version 1.1.4: http://tapatalk.com/files/plugin/tapatalk_xf10_1.1.4.zip

To downgrade, do I just override all the files and install the XML, just like updating an add on. Or is there a different way to downgrade.

You must remove uninstall the addon first, you cannot donwngrade addons, only upgrade.

Procedure is:

• uninstall the addon from admin panel
• overwrite the files in ftp
• install the old version of the addon
