XF 2.2 Updating an add-on in a XF cloud installation

New for me cloud site which is a recent move from my self hosted site.
I have s9e/MediaSites 2.3.9 add-on installed.
Im having trouble updating the add-on. I download the add-on which comes in a folder; src.
None of the files in that folder are selectable when I use the Install/upgrade from archive button in the CP Add-ons page.

You just upload the archive in its entirety through the add-on page, and it should allow you to install.

You select the archive zip file.

There is no zip file that I can find. Download the add-on from resources and I get an upload folder>src>addons>s9e>Mediasites>and a bunch of files and folders. None of which I can select from my cloud CP.
Anything to do with my config.php file not being set up for this? I have been doing it by FTP prior to the move to the cloud last week.

All add-ons are packaged in a zip file.

Safari on my Mac was unzipping files automatically.
