XF 1.2 Unregistered User Send Contact Email No Send Confirmation

Right now when an unregistered user sends an email from the Contact Us page the message goes through but it does not look like the email was sent. Everything but the capcha is still in the fields that the user fills out. Is there a way to redirect to a confirmation page or go to another page after sent?

You may have an add-on affecting the core behaviour.

Normal operation results in a "Your message has been sent" overlay at the top of the screen and the overlay disappearing when sending from the overlay.

When sending from the page, a "Your message has been sent" overlay appears at the top of the screen.
