XF 1.5 Unlimited Prefix?

Hi,

My client has a lot of forums and subforums, it has 1000 forums. And xenforo only accepts 300 I think. I recommend my client to use just prefix instead of subforum. My questions is can I create unlimited prefix or it is also limited?

There is no hard limit on forums in XF, but I wouldn't really consider 1,000 to be that useful or practical.

Similarly there is no limit for prefixes, but again having hundreds is going to cause issues with dropdowns, etc. when applying prefixes.

We already added lots of forums and then got server error, we removed the if statement on the node_list on admin template but got memory allocation and even we increase the memory that not solves the problem.

How many forums do you think can be handled without issues?

From a practical and usability standpoint, I would suggest no more than a few hundred.

Even then, if I encountered a forum with that many, I'd probably look elsewhere.
